About the project
Part of a refurbishment project was to install a new walk in chiller within the pharmaceutical department of the hospital. The walk in chiller was designed with a switch over panel and duty share so one system would run at a time and switch over every week. The system has also been designed so if a high temperature has been detected due to a failure of one system, then the panel will switch the systems over to ensure the products within the coldroom stays at temperature. The project included a new box build as well as the new refrigeration system and panel.
