Phoenix ACR was engaged to install six wall-mounted air conditioning units across five rooms in a recently extended barn conversion. The goal was to create an efficient and cost-effective solution for heating and cooling the expanded workspace.

Challenges: The client required a system that would effectively manage the temperature throughout the new extension while keeping within budget constraints. The installation needed to be tidy and efficient, accommodating the varied demands of different spaces within the barn conversion.
Solutions Provided: Phoenix ACR installed three 10kW Panasonic PACi wall-mounted systems and three 5kW Panasonic FZ wall-mounted systems. These systems were chosen for their efficiency and compatibility with the client’s needs. The use of R32 refrigerant ensured lower environmental impact and running costs. The installation process involved careful planning and execution to ensure minimal disruption and a neat finish.
Implementation Process: The installation was completed with a focus on minimizing disruption to the client’s operations. Galvanised Unistrut steel tray work supported the pipework, and Störnch anti-vibration rubber feet were used to reduce noise and vibration. The work was completed in a timely manner, just before the onset of the winter season, ensuring the new space was comfortable and ready for use.
