There are a number of complex and involved calculations our design engineers make when sizing an Air Conditioning system for a premises. A fundamental necessity is that the cooling output of the Air Conditioner is greater than the heat gain of the space it intends to serve. We have created a useful calculator so you can see which type of Air Conditioning system you require and also a price. The heat gain is made up from several factors, but the main ones have been included in the calculator.

Please note that the calculator assumes a reasonable level of insulation to walls, roof and ceiling. It is also only an approximate check of heat gain and does not replace the need for expert advice and detailed heat load calculation.
